Better yet, Chinese people. I'm so sick of the American government. It is so corrupt. All they can do is make up excuses and stuff just to discriminate Chinese people. They think they are better than us, but in reality, we are equal. Americans are just scared of us. Our numbers are so great, and with a greater number, comes greater power. Yes, Chinese people are COMMIES, but what difference does that make? We aren't blaming everything on Americans. We don't use you for our sweatshops slaves. We don't take a random photograph of one thing that is bad and broadcast it all over the world saying "This is what happens ALL over China." Today, my parents call in to the Sony company because there was fraudulent charges on our Sony credit card. They ask a bunch of questions and such. We cooperated. Takes too much to type out the stories. and most of the people reading these weblogs, if any, were there too. so i guess new format? Day 1 i arrived at church, at 12:30 or so. there was like 20-30 people there already, and i thought i was gonna be the first person there. some time later, Ebony buses arrived and we started putting our luggage into it. there was like 70-80 people. on the bus, i had to sit next to William. no matter how many times i told him to stop moving, he would keep moving, even when i threw like my strongest punches at him. so annoying. we finally arrived like 2 hours later, but was at the wrong location, so the bus driver drove for like 5 minutes more and we were at the right place, Dickson Valley. we got off, each person took 2 luggage and everyone walked to Chrouser West, the meeting place. went to our designated walls and got our group number and cabin name. got name tags. we did some activities. tried to complete a 1000 piece puzzle. then we played this one game where we had to flip a quarter and we competed against another team. dinner; spaghetti. workshop one and worship. my group's workshop, group 3, talked about love with Barry. we drew a lovable/unlovable person. Barry told us about the Jews and Samaritans. cabin sharing. free time! everyone went to gym since tubing was not open on day 1. wash up. lights out. didn't sleep until 2 cause of Barry, Kevin f, Michael, and Kevin w, who were talking about gangs and relationships and jumping around different subjects. also Jonathon was snoring so loud and jim in the room across the hallway was talking in chinese, telling stories and kept saying YOU BE TWEEKIN, which was like the saying of Winter Retreat 2007. Day 2. woke up at 7:12, but was supposed to wake up at 6:40 for a shower. didn;t have a toothbrush to brush teeth. had to use my fingers. one word for the water, smells like rotting egg. got dressed. breakfast; pancakes, cereal, bacon. worship. since the water smelled, Mike was like boys can fart and say it was the water. he also said this because the food we ate, all of it, made us very gassy and had to use the bathroom for number 2 alot. then a devotion. had to listen, meditate, pray and then contemplate. workshop number 2 with Peggy about power and integrity. Had to draw 2 pictures, worldly leader and Christian leader. show characteristics. Then lunch; cheeseburger, salad. since the cafeteria is above Chrouser West, we had to go up stairs. i was running up the stairs and tripped up the stairs into Victoria, knocking her down. Twilight Zone, which was a scavenger hunt. Juliet found a clue, which was not for her team and it was ours. Thank you! xD Stephen's team won, though. NOOOO! we ended Twilight Zone early and had free time. we went tubing, which for people who don't know is a steep hill where we rode a inflated tube down the hill. seems boring but is actually exciting. dinner; slice of ham and cheesy potatoes. ate very little and was hungry afterwards. fellowship games. we had to use a given slogan and make a commercial that promotes Christ. our team, kevin f, jireh, helen, raymond, emily c, grace, reynold, rebecca and me had Trusted Everywhere from DuraCell. we used the energizer bunny and inserted random stuff into him as battery, but then got to the bible and it was the best source of energy. workshop 3 with Harvey about sin, forgiveness and grace. we squeeze toothpaste onto a sheet of aluminum foil and had to try to get it back in the tube. its nearly impossible and Harvey explained that it was like sin. once u let it out, u cant take it back in. then we had to wrote out examples of sins and some group with the mexican guy in it, Michael, wrote TWEEKIN as a sin. Cabin sharing. free time, went tubing again. tubing closed at 11:30, everyone went back to cabin. wash up and Jimmy Mei let out a big one at the toilet. It was like KABOOM and Kevin Wong opened the shades on him accidently(yes shades, no doors). lights out. this time i fell asleep randomly and quickly. Day 3 woke up at about 7:40. Timmy was sleeping and Barry's bed and Barry was no where to be found. and for some reason Ryan was in our room too. half the people were ready and about to go out. the other half was still sleeping. then we had breakfast. since ony half the group was at Chrouser West, we got to go up first. devotion number 2. had to read a different passage and follow the same 4 steps. the goal was not to finish the step, but to use the steps to guide you through the devotion. then we came back for Worship/Message with Kensen. read Luke 14:25-35. learn some stuff about how to be a disciple. then we went to pack up. got on bus. i was one of the packers, who put the luggage onto the bus. there was so many luggage cases/bags. then we went home. fortunately, i was not sitting with William this time. but on the down side, i was sitting with his sister. = ( got back to church in like 1:40 mins or something, not sure.
